Hi faryal , nice method . How my buttercream cake will look same smooth texture in hot weather ? My buttercream looks shiny and it feel like it will melt in room temperature.or how to transport that freezer buttercream cake in hot weather to look like this

@@user-fk5wm2gj2n your feedback is appreciated. There are many videos out there with different methods. This is my way of doing it and works for me and worked for many others who followed my tutorial and took my cake classes. May I ask what I didn’t explain well? I am more than happy to explain x

@@almawilde2435 hello from London. Sorry my recipes works with cup measurements. I would not recommend converting it in metric quantities. You can get the measuring cups from Tesco or Sainsburys. Cups measurements saves so much time and utensils. I will soon be sharing my vanilla recipe that’s also in cups. X

I love your video. I've ⌚ it a million times. May I ask size of dowel and size of drill bit? ❤❤
@@twistedsprinklescakes3750 dowel thickness is 15mm and drill attachment is 16mm. So whatever the thickness you are using in dowel just use 1mm bigger size drill attachment if that makes sense. Thank you so much for watching and loving my videos 🫶🏻

Beautiful video!!! Thank you. I have a question, I made butter cream for the first time, I crumb coated and added the final layer of butter cream came out good, however when I piped the borders and decor w M1 tip, the butter cream started soften, what did I do wrong or how can I correct it?
Did you use pure butter or did you use baking fat or margarine? Also the stability of buttercream also depends on the temperature of the room.
@@Scrumptiouscakesbyfairy I am in Florida so it was a bit warm however, I did run put of icing and only a little left for my borders. I used unsalted butter, powder sugar and heavy cream.
@@Scrumptiouscakesbyfairy note when I finished the cake and put in the fridge to chill...then took it out that's when the piping started to soften
@@Skater51 I think that’s cream in it. If the frosting is only made with butter and icing sugar it doesn’t melt very quickly after you take out of the fridge.
@@Skater51 I use 250gm butter and 2.5 cup icing sugar and flavouring.

Hi Faryal, I am just a hobby baker learning as I go. I came across your channel by chance, just having a look for tips as I am a very basic learner .I have mastered my baking but I need help with the crumb coat / gnash etc and fondant icing . Wow i have not ever seen this way of icing a cake and I was so impressed that I just had to let you know that I think it is a brilliant way of icing.. I was gob smacked at how easy you make it. I am going to try your way very soon . I was putting it off trying in case I failed, but that is how we learn > from our mistakes. I do like the way you explain how your doing each step and I am looking forward to trying your way. Also more of your videos .Thank you very much. I am from Stoke - on Trent, Staffordshire .UK

Yes as I myself learned on my own mistakes I want others not to make the same mistakes and learn the skills faster than me. I have been doing it professionally since 2012 so you can tell I didn’t learn all of this in a year. I would personally avoid as sometimes fondant start sweating but if it’s very hot then you can for 20-30mins to chill the cake.
